Going beyond the limits of floral perfumes, these two creations of Champaca unfurl the transformation and the nuanced character of the Champaca flower during the day, with a unique time-lapse effect. In this composition we are listening to a Champaca nocturne under the starry night. Still in Jiangnan, still on the old, stone bridge, only by now the air has cooled slightly.

Along the balustrades of stone, instead of flower-selling ladies, many young people take a romantic promenade around. Under the dimmed streetlights and moonshine, a gentle breeze stirs up a fresh whiff of Champaca. While its elegant character remains, the evening Champaca fragrance varies notably from the morning time, as if it has embellished itself with an extravagant pearlescent dress and become the queen of the night with its signature enigmatic faces. Of course, Champaca has its daily routine and natural rhythms, like everything in nature, even ourselves.
